So I have to qualify it do I, OK, sure there are exceptions to every rule, but lets face it, the VAST majority and I do me VAST are quite obviously going to be against such behavior, you KNOW that, or at least should, of the exceptions, few again would admit to being in support of such behavior, so I say again, it's a dumb question, the answer is obvious. As for some being in the situation sure, quite a number, but what has that to do with the question, WHAT DO YOU THINK OF IT?

I knew before I post this question, that there are people against and people who support this behavior, the idea behind this is to let people express their feelings, share there ideas and experiences, cause really talking about it helps.. I was really bothered by what I saw that day, and I felt better after I talked about it… You think it’s dumb, that is your opinion, and I respect that… Maybe you didn’t like the way I formed my question!! You gotta pardon me cause I’m not an English speaker…..

Understood. An occurrence like that would certainly have an impact and I can see now where you are coming from, I don't think you will find very many that support that kind of behavior. I also doubt this is the ideal forum for topics such as this and used as therapeutic. I believe most would consider this kind of thing as baggage in spades. Could make for an interesting date card though, "Man who likes beating women seeks woman with so little self esteem she feels she deserves to be beaten". Too each their own I guess.

I can relate to that I was once married to one of those. I was with him 14 yrs and finally got out. I think any man who does that, the courts or police should allow every women the right to beat them atleast once. Girls if you do make it count.

i have to get my two cents in on this one. a man or a woman who beats the other needs some serious help. my sista dealt with this in her first marriage. and let me tell you it is not that easy to get out, but thank God she did. But the effects are forever. I also say thank God she did not have children with this man, or should i say weasel. beating a woman or a woman beating a man is just wrong. it doesnt matter if you are male or female doing the beatings. and they will get theirs in the end. debbie

Men should not hit a women even if she hits him first. God made men stronger for a reason; to protect women, and kids from danger!!!! I for one one would had to interfer. I was being abused for years by my sons dad. Of course he denies it, and I've come to realize he lies to hisself in order to live with hisself. Now I am happily married to a wonderful man; who treats me like a queen. He is a wonderful husband, and a great dad to my three kids.

even if a lady hits the guy first no way should he strike back take it like a man . sitting and talking civial will work better if not counselling will do wonders. people who who hit like that should be shot both womam and men

I have the same feeling toward woman beaters as I do toward pedaphiles. Give them to the victims families and turn your back on them. A little redneck justice goes a long way. I have seen situations where a woman will push a man to the point of exploding, but you have a choice as far as who you're with and how far it goes. Anyone should know when to walk away. Somebody that goes to the extreme that you witnessed deserves the worst.
