Okay guys, don't get kinky on this one...
Question: Are there really not that many submissive men in the bedroom? Meaning a domantrix woman dealing some serious S&M play to a very submissive male.
I've only met one in my entire life and most other guys seem to hold on to their pride about it. I guess because the man is supposed to be 'the man?'

I have to say that the question Ms Morning posed is quite interesting. My stand is the same as Ahmed. And Ms Morning's guess, its entirely correct. A man is suppose to be "The Man" in any form of activity. Like Ms Morning conclude, its a pride thing. A man will hold on to his pride even if it kills him.
But then again, pride comes in many form. Some men may take pride when being the submissive one in a domantrix situation. A number of Japanese domantrix videos that I've seen shows the men being the dominated party. Could it be a culture thing??

They're the shy or introverted guys you'd probably never talk to when you see them, that's why.

actually, on the Tyra Banks Show earlier this week they showed a dominatrix and she said that many of her clients are men in high positions where there is so much they are in charge of that they enjoy being submissive and letting someone else be in control for a while.

I had actually thought it was a cultural thing as well for awhile but then I noticed it's not quite that. Korean men have a lot of pride but still very few in this day and age love to be dominated but strictly in the bedroom. Western men seem to be the most 'pride-filled.' The thought of submitting appalled many of them, especially if there's no penetration intended right away.

Honestly, looking at all of the issues that could go along with the whole S&M thing, I think just the act of being submissive isn't that big of a hang up. It's just not something that some guys would enjoy. Then there's the possibility of getting hurt, etc...
I actually thing most guys would get into being submissive, if only as an excuse to get the woman to actually let us know what she wants.

For me, I don't mind sitting back and letting the woman take the lead in an intimate encounter. In fact, I kind of like it. It saves on me bumbling around and trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do next. LoL! It's actually something of a turn on to see a woman that I like THAT eager.
Now, as far as the whole domination thing, to me it looks like being all about seizing control of perceived power and lording it over somebody else, and I've never EVER been about that. Whether it's a woman over a man or a man over a woman, I've never liked anybody abusing their power (real or perceived). It's not sexy. It's not attractive. It just looks and feels wrong. Like there's a great disturbance in the Force or something.

Not a pride issue. I like being sub occasionally. But really sub, in the S&M way, is just not attractive to me. Not a pride thing. Just a taste thing.
