I'm interested in your thoughts ... this is for girls and guys really.

How do you handle girls that just seem immature even though you have a pretty good relationship. This seems to prevent you from furthering the relationship. Let's assume the other person seems intelligent enough. Just wanted to throw this out there and see what every1s thought are on this.

Depends how immature you mean.

Does laughing at farts count?

How about sniggering everytime someone says they've been to a place that sounds like a rude word? Like Cockermouth?

Or do you just mean playing with dolls? I couldn't handle that.

Or typing in text talk or sending you emails with TTFN and IRRLUSFM or some other generic abbrieviation as a sign off? I hate that.

I'm going to assume you want to take the relationship "further", because you said the immaturity is in the way of it.

If it's the kind of immaturity I'm thinking of, it could be some kind of defense against coping with the question of taking things further (or some other serious matter), and I'm sure she knows that's what you want even if you haven't expressed it out clear in words. She might be afraid of a mature level of conversation because she's afraid to answer questions it might bring. It's all just speculations and I know too little to give you any advice on what to do, but don't forget to be immature yourself sometimes.

Good questions. Immature emotionally? Sexually? Behaviorally?

If it is stopping the relationship from going where you want it to, I would suggest you talk to her about where you see things going. If she is responsive and drops the childlike behaviors all good> If not well?
