sleep disorder
is a sleep disorder sexy ?
I'm having this sleep disorder because I've worked on some projects that took me deep into the night and now I can't go to sleep before ~4 in the morning and wake up totally totally trashed
the next day at about 13:30 or 14:00 in the afternoon or if I put my alarm clock 10-11 in the morning, when I feel much better but I can't really do anything serious and I'm sleepy.
also me and my girlfriend broke up about a month ago
and I keep thinking about her , if she was with me I'd probably go to sleep earlier if we'd sleep together...
I tried physical exercise to extenuate myself in order to be able to sleep but it didn't work out.
I've tried all sorts of teas , not working out.
I don't know what to do

Re: sleep disorder
Have you tried relaxation therapies? Like, take a bath or light lavender-scented candles and anyone who calls you a pansy can answer to me! Sorry to hear about the lack of sleep it can be rough.. xoxo

Re: sleep disorder
Sleep patterns come and go, I work odd shifts all the time all I know is that every week I will have 2 days off and work a minimum of 37 1/2hrs. These hours include waking night shift, earlys starting at 8am and lates finishing at 10pm, shifts vary from 4-12hrs. My body clock is well and truly messed up, the best thing I have found is when I have a day off or a late shift the next day push yourself to stay up later and set the alarm for a reasonable time, 10-11am.
This should make you feel completely trashed but hopefully you will get a decent nights sleep the next day, doesn't always work but if the baths don't work, this is always something else to try. Used to go for about 36-48hrs without sleep in Uni before crashing for up to 16hrs, up all night and sleeping through the day, perhaps thats why I didn't get a good grade?

time zone shouldnt affect anything and sometimes i can goto bed and lay there for hours not getting any sleep and few days later get into bed and sleep within 5 mins

Re: sleep disorder
try changin it really slowly.. so for example, make your usual 'bedtime' 15 mins earlier, and your waking time 15mins earlier...adjust til u get it where u want it...
play relaxation music for about 1/2 an hour before u go to bed...
in terms of taking a sleeping pill as someone suggested... consider a herbal sleep remedy available from good chemists but personally i would say to consult your doctor first... they should b able to help u manage and treat your disorder..
