The responses were cold! If someone wanted to give me thier number and I wasn't interested, I would politely refuse to take the number. There are a million ways to turn someone down and not have to hurt their feelings in the process.

Honestly, answering back usually entails a lot of annoying messages back. I've tried the nice approach and told them I'm not interested and they're not what I'm looking for but then I get tons of messages back about why? Or even messages where they're trying to insult. And yes homeport, there are a lot of ways to let someone know you're not interested but the majority seem not to take the nice approach very well at all.

I got a question, why do the people that do not speak my language try to communicate with me? I'm sorry, I don't speak Turkish, Portuguese, Italian, or French. Them doing that I think it just a way to gather attention or be just annoying.

Usually not replying just leaves it and they don't bother anymore.

Not true in most cases we really have no idea who that person is. These messages consist of wink/wink? If someone winks at you on the street do you stop and talk to them? Ooohhh they winked at me, must mean they want to talk? No.... If you want a response ask a question. Also, don't spam some email address or phone number (to many scammers to be sending people that info right off).

only reason lack of answer bothers me is b/c i think maybe they didn't get a chance to check their mail and out of courtesy i wait about a week before looking again. a big waste of time.
