Ladies is it true.
Me and my friend miesha decided to go shopping. I let her dress me up as a ken doll and deck me out in polos and such. To cheer her up from her asshole bf. What she said to me to help my chances of getting with a girl is that the ugly truth girls are very visual if a guy doesn't look good we don't give him a chance or not as easy of once if he dressed nice. Now I do know this depends on the type of clothing you are wearing and what your trying to attract.
I would like to know is that really how girls percieve a guy, and have you done that as well. What are some ways for a guy to overcome this barrier?

Re: Ladies is it true.
to tell you the truth its the girls preference.
some girls like a guy that only dresses nice. others dont mind.
but for me it truely doesnt matter what he wears.
i like a guy to be versatile. to be able to wear nice clothes or ones he can get dirty..
as long as he is confident in it.
and personally i dont think girls should try to change a guy
or what he wears. because that is who he is.
hope this helps some

It all comes down to personal preference...some girls may dress their guys up like ken dolls but personally i couldn't care even if he ran around in a ratty old potato sack

Re: Ladies is it true.
The only thing I really just cannot stand is when a guy wears his shorts/jeans/etc around his knees, "wifebeaters", and the whole "gangster" style. To me, it's just not attractive at all, and comes across as being lazy and that's fine! I just see so many guys out in public doing that, and all I think is, "wow, you really couldn't find anything else?" I'm not being a b*tch, it just comes off the wrong way, to me at least. The guy doesn't have to be all decked out like a "Ken doll", but a decent t-shirt and a belt works wonders!! It does depend on the girl, but first impressions really do matter. It also depends on where you are and what you are doing as to whether or not how you are dressed is appropriate. But it's the same thing for girls too! Let's say you are out somewhere and you see a group of really good-looking girls. There are the girls that wear a tiny tube-top and a belt for a skirt, and the girls that wear a cute shirt or tube-top and nice jeans or shorts that leave something to your imagination. I know it is an extreme example, but would you rather have the girl who shows off her assets to everyone, or the one that takes pride in herself and has self-respect enough to keep private what should be kept private? I know not all girls fall into these two categories; a lot of girls like to wear hoodies and chucks and regular t-shirts, and not all girls like to get "dressed up" all the time. Just like not all guys "lowride" and dress "gangster", and they don't all dress preppy and like a "Ken doll". I hate stereotyping but hopefully you get my point?

I think the dress style kind of goes along with the idea of whether looks are important to someone or not. It's kind of an overall package. It doesn't matter to me. My view is that you should be physically attracted to someone, but that is by your standards, not everyone elses. The only thing that gets on my nerves is all these people around here thinking their a thug and trying to dress and act like one. Just be you. Wear whatever makes you comfortable. It's nice to have a variety though. Be able to dress up, be casual, be able to get all dirty and not care.

hmm id have to agree with some ladies and say it is definitely personal preference ....
i could careless what a guys wearing if i feel attracted to him and hes himself ... though i do like to see a guy who is clean cut and stylish it doesn't really matter to me in the end .... your style reflects your personality .. if a guy is casual about his clothing i could careless because its him that matters not what he is wearing lol

i agree with u you wrote good comments about this its true you wear that clothes and dresses which is suited on you and feel comfortable dont think about others what the other will say about ur clothes and also sorry to say that when the girls find somebody like boy friend so they think that they found a slave they can do with them what they want i think so that its so mean and stupid if the girl said it to the boy that i feel ashamed to go out with u in this dress what you wear ok tell me if the boy said to girl i am also ashamed to out with you beacuse you are half naked in this dress so tell me this relation will go on or not
