Since when did "farm girl" become equated with "no makeup"?
And more importantly, how does putting makeup on equal deceiving anyone?

I don't quite understand what exactly is expected of women when it comes to this. If we wear too much makeup then we are lying and disgusting. If we wear too little then we "don't take pride in our appearance." If we don't wear any at all we are farm girls?

Guys, get real. If you are out on the town, you are 10 times as likely to stalk the girl who looks dolled up then the one who looks like she just crawled out from under a car. Hate to burst your fantasy bubble here, but usually looking dolled up involves some kind of primping, aka makeup.

For the record, I wear makeup because I like to accentuate my eyes. And I'm a farm girl. And anyone who spends more than 10 minutes on their makeup is insane (for whoever said it takes their friends an hour to put on makeup). It takes me 10 minutes to get ready to go out: 3 minutes to blowdry the hair, 3 minutes for makeup, 3 minutes for clothes, a minute to gather the necessities (carmex, keys, phone, wallet).

for people that have skin problems tho it can take more than 10mins
