Tattoos are so not a turnoff for me, I have several myself and consider a way of self-interpretation. Though I do agree that the placement and what it is can set some girls off. Like a scoobydoo tattoo on your left buttcheek, that's just not attractive.

As others have said, I think it comes down to the woman's personal preference, but on top of that is also the kind of tattoo. Sorry but most chics don't dig it when guys have naked women etched on their bodies. I've seen some tattoos, tribal ones in particular, that I found incredibly sexy. I'm even helping a male friend of mine design a tattoo of St. Michael defeating Lucifer right now that will cover his entire back and I think he's going to look totally cool with it. So, it really comes down to individual preference I think.

I personally agree with most of the people here. I do find tattoos very attractive, but it depends on what they are.

I would hope that there are some reasons for getting the tattoos, not just because you were drunk one night and didn't know what was going on. I find the story almost more entertaining than the artwork.

I can't say tattoos are a turn off either since I'm aspiring to be a tat artist =)

its an expression of art for me. and im an artist.
i have one tatto and want more.
when i see a guy with a tattoo all i can think is that he is even more
gorgeous and masculine
and appreciates art. and the more the better...

i guess it just depends on the girl. most of the girls that dont like tattoos are the ones that are into looks and want the "clean" guy...

Tattoos are definitely not a turn off! For me they're a turn on. I like to watch guys get there tattoos. I also like guys with piercings... or course with tattoos and piercings there is always a cut off point of when someone has to many or whatever.
