I have questions

Postby Shirley on Wed Mar 11, 2009 5:14 pm

Do men get intimadated by women that know what they want and are not afraid to ask? Can a gal be to forward? How long does she have to wait for "the right one" to come forward? Are men really looking for the girl next door? Can a gal be to sexy and scare men off? I sit here nite after nite n ponder these questons, someone help me with the answers.

Things are really complicated aren't they, and, they don't have to be. However, perhaps men and women are wired different. As an "all grown up" woman, I look for people who are similar to me, in my goals, my way of thinking, my way of life, my way of living, someone who is compatible to me. I am not looking for challenges, competition, problems, I am not looking to fix anybody. Generally, those who have not "found themselves" are not sure of who they really are, and what they really want. They walk down a road of obscurity, and look for, excitement of some sort or another, as their own lives lack lustre, something is missing. I would say just hang in there, and don't settle. If you do, you may end up being disappointed and hurt. However, who said,
It is better to have loved and lost, and not have loved at all
. Just have to be able to handle the repercussions of a relationship that goes sour. Dont know myself, it's all chance, hit or miss.

Others are welcomed to share their thoughts.......huh?

Good Morning Ladies...Men want what they want...lol..if they are in their fifties they want younger for some reason..they go for looks instead of what is in the heart and soul...I havent dated in over seven yrs just because of that reason..if u arent a skinny mini with lots of money (i ur older) they want nothing to do with you..as if they are still "stud muffins" lol...oh well, I think they miss out on a lot in life because they go for the exterior looks instead of what it takes to make a long and lasting relationship...I want someone around my age and most of what contacts I get are young uns...I want a man 55- whatever age upwards that wants to be in a real relationship...not just a "image" affair..I am still waiting...and will wait until it happens..good luck everyone with finding who you really need and want.. :D

Would love to go on a date if I did not have to have my medical record, financially statements, credit history, and background check done before I could take someone to dinner! LOL

Definitely could be a little intimidating when a women is way to upfront about what she wants. Guys still do believe in building ( well at least I do) a friendship. Just because it didn't work the first time around, doesn't mean it can't wrk this time. I do understand you feel you deserve what you want, if you think about it, your being a little selfish. If everyone is out there to get what they want, and there is no compromise, you will fall in the boat you were in...." the first time around"

This I am speaking for me, not every guy feels the same way or will they ever tell, but yes we do want what we want too..lol. I for one want you to be yourself....if you try to hard, or come across like I deserve it, you will not get it. Hope this makes sense.....lol

:DHi there, I can relate to what you are saying: But and there is always a But! the men may want younger Ladies, ah but the trend now is that the younger men want the older Lady so it cuts both ways. Good Luck.
